Description
Our Razialis line of incense is right out of the 15th century grimoire, Sepher Razialis (Book of Razial). This work is essentially an encyclopedia of the angels which govern our world, the years, seasons, elements, months, days and hours. Within the chapter on suffumigation is listed a variety of herbs and scents associated with the planet which rules the day. From this list did I compile the ingredients for this line of incense.
Razialis states that the the burning of perfumes is one of seven ways of making sacrifices to God. By burning incense sympathetic to the type of spirits of your petition, you can constrain them by filling the room with the scent to which they are drawn to. Burning incense is akin to medicine where the “sickness” of your environment which prevents the spirits from coming can be “cured” and may become a place to which they are drawn.
These perfumes are great for daily or regular ritual both formal and informal. Simply burn the incense and recite your prayer or conjuration.
The ingredients of this series include some very rare and outstanding herbs including saffron and lingum aloes. These specimens can cost upwards of several hundred dollars an ounce but I spare no expense to remain true to the grimoires requirements.
Half ounce of incense in a glass jar.
