Description
This is a 15th century recipe from Secretus Securitas for an invisible ink. The instructions allude to using this ink between the lines of another. When the ink is brushed lightly with the ‘revealer’, you’ll see the ink begin to take shape so you can read what was concealed. This is perfect for important details that need to be written but must be hidden from sight.
This item comes with about one ounce of the secret ink and about one ounce of the ‘revealer’.

This is a really intriguing item. The ink itself is quite thin, so using a brush or fountain pen works best. Just make sure you clean your pen/nibs thoroughly or any residue of your previous ink will end up on the paper. And make sure you have very good lighting, because once the ink dries you literally cannot see it. So far I’ve enjoyed putting invisible notes on handwritten letters, so that’s fun. I’ll definitely be buying more when I run out.
