Description
This is a 17th century recipe for Marseilles Vinegar or what later became known as Four Theives Vinegar. It’s said this particular mixture was used in the medieval period to help guard against the Black Plague. There is a lot of myth to this vinegar and a lot of variation to the ingredients. We use a recipe from 1741 that uses a mixture of white vinegar, wormwood, meadowsweet, wild marjoram, sage and clove, campanula, Angelica, rosemary, horehound and camphor.
100 ml (3.3 fluid ounce) glass spray bottle.
